Night snack with only 3 ingredients
Yep, 3 ingredients and not particularly time consuming. Crisp, savory and flavorful

What you need:
- One pack of puff pastry
- 1 egg
- Cheddar cheese (grated)
Thaw the puff pastry
Put the puff pastry on the kitchen counter, heat up the grill / oven to 375F, and tear some good quality cheddar. After about 20 minutes, the pastry has thawed enough to roll it out a bit. Then brush the pastry with egg.

Sprinkle the pastry with cheddar
After sprinkling a thin layer of cheddar, Divide pastry into strips (about 2 inches thick). Feel free to use a pizza cutter for this.

Make straws with a twist
Fold the strips and twist them, starting in the middle and taking one side at a time. Brush the sticks with eggs before putting them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before putting them on the grill. Place them on the grill and do not touch them until it has been on for 10-12 minutes, then slightly turn them so that they become crispy on both sides.

Serve
Serve in a glass, or just on a platter. Serve with some salsa, sour cream or aioli!
